Project Introduction
Planning permission granted at the London Legacy Development Corporation Planning Decisions Committee (LLDC) for a new building delivering 40 high-quality homes.. The site forms part of the masterplan area of the redundant McGrath Brothers Waste Control plant.
Our Role
The proposals for Bridge House had been designed in consultation with planning and design officers of LLDC and presented at the Quality Review Panel prior to and following submission of the planning application. The design of the scheme was very well received by officers and the Panel.
Exceptionally designed by Studioshaw Architects, we successfully achieved planning permission for O’Shea Group who are delivering the scheme with Southern Housing Group.
Result
Planning permission was granted in March 2023 for a new building providing 40 homes as part of the Wickside Masterplan in Hackney Wick. Exceptionally designed by Studioshaw, the scheme delivers high quality homes, communal amenity space and new commercial floorspace.
