Project Introduction
The Daniel Watney Planning Team secured planning permission for the substantial extension and refurbishment of a tall building in Barnet and the erection of a new block to deliver 260 homes.
Our Role
The team put forward a compelling public benefits argument, highlighting public realm, affordable housing and affordable workspace offer, with workspace subject to first refusal for NHS use.
Result
Planning permission was granted in July 2022 for the change of use of the vacant office building, extension, and new building for up to 260 homes, along with new affordable workspace on the ground floor and significant public realm enhancements.
