Role Purpose
An opportunity exists for a full-time experienced surveyor to join our growing Commercial Agency Team. The team focuses on the disposal and acquisition of offices and providing strategic consultancy advice.
Ideally, you will have sufficient experience to demonstrate competency in dealing with office acquisitions and/or disposals throughout Central London.
Working with some fantastic clients, you'll be given an opportunity to grow within the business and work independently and autonomously with both landlords and occupiers.
The individual must be:
- Enthusiastic, organised and able to multitask within this varied role;
- Explore opportunities for new business generation and be an efficient presenter;
- Able to build and maintain client and peer relationships with other teams;
- Ability to understand and grow knowledge of the clients' investment objectives; and
- Be able to recognise opportunities for selling additional services to clients, including cross-selling.
Experience/qualifications
Essential
- MRICS Qualified preferred but not essential.
- Minimum 2-years office agency experience.
Skills and characteristics
Essential
- Have a high attention to detail, well organised and a good initiative level.
- Sound understanding and ability to use all aspects of Microsoft Office 365.
- Be articulate, professional and persuasive with a good telephone manner and good report writing skills.
- An ability to work to tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing strategic advice to landlord clients;
- Having creativity when implementing marketing campaigns on behalf of landlord clients to ensure the best possible result;
- Contributing to research pieces and wider firm marketing initiatives to promote the team;
- Providing strategic re-location advice to occupier clients and running acquisition searches;
- Negotiated detailed heads of terms with and/or on behalf of applicants and opposing agents; and
- Overseeing transactions through to completion.
